Verevsky buys 209,000 shares in Kernel for $2.83 mln

 Namsen Limited under control of Board Chairman of Kernel agroholding Andriy Verevsky on October 23 through October 25 acquired 208,917 shares in Kernel Holding S.A. (Luxembourg).

According to a report of Kernel on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), average price of shares was PLN 48.68 ($13.55 per share at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Poland as of October 26).

As of October 26, 2017, Namsen Limited held 21.455 million of shares in the company or 38.39% of the share capital.

Before the recent acquisition, Namsen Limited owned 38.13% of the share capital of Kernel.

According to the WSE, the cost of Kernel's shares on the exchange as of 10:00 on October 27 was PLN 50.40 per share.

Kernel is the world's largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil, the leading producer and supplier of agricultural products from the Black Sea region to the world markets. Since 2007 the company's shares have been traded on the WSE.
