This is a lesson for all responsible businesses - Klimkin about supply of turbines by Siemens to Russia

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said the case with Siemens in Russia is a lesson for all responsible businesses.

"A lesson for all responsible businesses: any cooperation with Russia is interaction with fraudsters. We work on this matter further," Klimkin wrote on his Twitter page.

As reported, according to the German newspaper Wirtschaftswoche, Siemens is considering the possibility of withdrawing from joint ventures in Russia - Siemens Gas Turbine Technologies LLC and Interautomatika.

According to media reports, Siemens Gas Turbine Technologies LLC (the German concern owns 65% in the JV) manufactured and supplied turbines for the construction of the Taman station in the Russian Federation, which, according to unofficial information, were supplied to Crimea. Interautomatika (Siemens holds 45.72%), according to Siemens, carried out work at the facility. The company modified the turbines in such a way that they cannot be recognized as Siemens products.
