The Debts of Dmytro Firtash's companies in the energy sector amount to some UAH 6 billion, and the state has started court litigation to collect the debts, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.

"According to our information, the companies affiliated with Dmytro Firtash owe around UAH 6 billion to the Ukrainian energy system – we've started court litigations to collect all debts and we'll do everything to restore justice… there is no banned names for me – everyone will be equal – equal oligarchs," he said while speaking in parliament on Friday, giving a report on 100 days of the work of the Ukrainian government.

Yatseniuk noted that on Thursday, the government informed Crimea Titan of Dmytro Firtash that rent agreements for Irshansk State Mining and Metallurgical Combine and Vilnohirsk Mining Complex had been canceled.

"We've announced a tender to de-monopolize the Ukrainian economy and start a fight with oligarchs… Two mining complexes which were leased to Firtash's companies using a doubtful scheme were returned to state ownership under yesterday's decision of the government," he said.

On June 5, 2014, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine warned private joint-stock company Crimea Titan on the cancellation of the rent agreements for property of Irshansk State Mining and Metallurgical Combine and Vilnohirsk Mining Complex (Dnipropetrovsk and Zhytomyr regions).
