As the world's biggest conference on investment in Ukraine in over eight years, this event every year gathers the Ukrainian elite and key officials for meeting with foreign colleagues. The summit provides an independent and objective platform for discussing macroeconomic forecasts in Ukraine and determining ways to improve the investment climate in this large, developed European economy.
The summit promises to be especially relevant this year, as it will be held only a few weeks before Ukraine comes under the international spotlight as the organizer of Euro 2012 European Football Championship. However, the summit is to be held on the background of the global economic crisis and growing disappointment with the tempo of introduction of reform inside the country.
This year the conference offers a number of new and improved elements to make the event even more fruitful for all participants.
The key points of the program:
Ukrainian summit on metallurgy and mineral resource industry, devoted to the engine of the Ukrainian economy. · the M&A section will present examples of the most noticeable deals of 2102, drawing attention to the alarming growth in the number of hostile takeovers;
· group expert debates between the banks and corporate sector with the participation of CEOs will discuss how crediting of the real economy should be stimulated in future in order to respond to the tough criteria of banks;

Talking about the program of the summit, among the rapporteurs this year are many new people attending the event for the first time. Together they present unprecedented experience and expertise:
§ Sergey Voloboyev, chief economist of Credit Suisse bank in Russia and CIS countries, will share his views concerning the economic forecast for Ukraine;
§ Giovanni Salvetti, managing director of Rothschild, will present a profound expert analysis of the market of mergers and takeovers;
§ Iryna Yevets, chief financial officer of MTS Ukraine, will analyse the very interesting example of influence the new Tax Code has on one of the biggest taxpayers of the country;
