On July 31, in the city of Hostomel, the Taekwondo Cup "Indestructible Dream" was held among young athletes of the Kyiv region. The event was organized by the Kyiv region branch of the National Olympic Committee with the support of the Charitable Foundation "The Future for Children".

About 100 participants joined the competition. According to the results of the competition, awards in weight categories were held, athletes were presented with medals and diplomas of appropriate degrees, as well as gifts from the NOC of Ukraine

"This is another step in our systematic work to develop and support the sports movement in Ukraine. Even in such difficult conditions it is necessary to stimulate the aspiration of children to be engaged in sports, to compete on sports grounds and to win. We must support the new generations of athletes, especially now", - noted philanthropist and entrepreneur Anatoliy Boyko.

The event was also attended by prominent Ukrainian athletes and Olympians, including Valery Andriytsev, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, silver medalist at the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as volunteers and representatives of the local military administration.

The competition was held in a friendly atmosphere and in compliance with all safety standards. Particularly, during the air-raid alarm, the children and guests of the event, in an organized manner, went down to a bomb shelter located nearby.

To remind, on July 26, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine with the support of Ukrainian Charitable Foundation "Future for Children" and philanthropist Anatoliy Boyko, organized the international project "Olympic Dreams 2022" with the friendly judo tournament among the athletes from Ukraine, Greece and Cyprus.
