The possibility of launching direct flights from Chernivtsi to Israel and holding regional business events to present Bukovyna's economic and investment potential in Israel was the subject of an online meeting between Ukrainian Ambassador to the State of Israel Yevhen Korniychuk and Chernivtsi Mayor Roman Klichuk. The Embassy of Ukraine in Israel reported this at Facebook.

«The state and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and Israel at the regional level in the economic, investment and humanitarian spheres were discussed. The interlocutors agreed to work out the possibility of launching direct flights from Chernivtsi to Israel. The idea of organizing regional business events (business forums, conferences, seminars, etc.) to present the economic and investment potential of Bukovina and neighboring regions in Israel aroused mutual interest», - the statement says.

During the conversation, the directions of bilateral cooperation in the field of education, culture and medical tourism were also outlined.

«As a result of the conversation, the Bukovynian Clinical Oncology Center was involved in the international online conference" Oncology 2021: Experience and Achievements ", organized by the Israeli partners of the Embassy, which is scheduled for November 3», - the Embassy noted.
