PRESS RELEASE: German and Ukrainian agricultural producers to meet at Kharkiv Forum

The German-Ukrainian AgroInternational 2011 Agricultural Forum is to be held in Kharkiv on June 18. The event is aimed at fostering successful business contacts between German manufacturers and agricultural enterprises in eastern Ukraine. More than 20 German manufacturers of agricultural chemicals, seeds, along with sales representatives for agricultural equipment, including equipment for livestock, will be invited to attend the forum. Ukraine will be represented by the heads of 60 farms and agroindustrial enterprises. Panel discussions and presentations entitled Agricultural Machinery, Seed Producers, Bioenergy Technologies, Producers of Agricultural Chemicals, and Techniques for Livestock will be held during the forum. Financial institutions that lend to the agricultural industry will be represented at the forum, which is a non-profit event. The honorary guests invited to speak at the forum are Chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Mykhailo Dobkin, Kharkiv Mayor Hennadiy Kernes, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Donetsk Mr. Klaus Tsillikens, Delegate of the German Economy in Ukraine Mrs. Dr. Karin Rau, Head of Food Industry, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine Dr. Volker Sasse.
