Misak Khidiryan opened his first elevator in Sumy region

President of the agrarian holding A. G. R. Group Misak Khidiryan opened a new “Seredino-Budskiy elevator” in Sumy region. The capacity of the first stage of the granary will be 28 thousand tons.
The event is reported on the official website of the A.G.R. Group. During the grand opening, Misak Khidiryan noted that the construction of the elevator was one of the strategic tasks of the agricultural holding.
“While cultivating land in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, we felt a lack of capacity to keep at least what we grew ourselves. Without our own elevator, it was economically unprofitable for us to buy land in this region. But with its opening a new stage has really begun in the development of A.G.R. Group,” said Misak Khidiryan.
The granary is equipped with the most modern technologies and will create 20 new jobs. By the end of the year, their number should increase to 60.
The elevator consists of four silos manufactured by the Swedish company TORNUM. The volume of each is 7 thousand tons.
The A.G.R. Group said that farmers will receive grain free of charge. The transport infrastructure of the new facility allows receiving about 3 thousand tons of grain per day.
There are 5 railway lines connected to the territory, which will allow processing maximum harvest volumes in short lines. In the first season, the enterprise plans to receive 100 thousand tons of corn, wheat, barley, soybeans and sunflower seeds.
Also, the elevator complex is equipped with a grain dryer with a capacity of 52 t / h. A. G. R. Group assures of the highest quality of grain sampling, which will be performed exclusively automatically.

The opening ceremony was an important event in the Seredino-Buda region of Sumy. She was visited by representatives of the authorities, in particular, Deputy Chairman of the Sumy Regional State Administration Serhiy Bannikov, as well as Chairman of the District Council Mykola Kharytonenko. In addition, the elevator was presented to the public by the representative of the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine - the project coordinator for business and trade development, General Director of Tornum Alexander Holod.
President of A. G. R. Group Misak Khidiryan thanked the partners for the construction of a modern agricultural infrastructure facility.
In turn, representatives of the authorities noted the important role of Misak Khidiryan's company in creating jobs, as well as developing the economic potential of the region.
So, Mykola Kharytonenko called the construction of the elevator "the largest investment of private capital in industrial facilities in the Seredino-Budskiy region over the past 20-30 years."
