PRESS RELEASE: Second European-Ukrainian Energy Day to take place in Kyiv in May 2011
The organizers of the European-Ukrainian Energy Day – the Conference House Company and "European-Ukrainian Energy Agency" Association (EUEA) - are pleased to report the start of preparations for the second annual event in the sphere of energy efficiency and alternative energy.
Despite the fact that the previous year's event was the first of its kind, it gathered about 300 participants from more than 10 countries. It indicated the urgency of topic and the need for constant dialogue between main market players. The creation of such a dialogue motivated the organizers to hold the event annually.
The event is to be held on May 31–June 1, 2011 (InterContinental Hotel, Kyiv). The aim of the event is to discuss priorities in a balanced policy in the sphere of energy efficiency and the development of alternative energy in Ukraine.

What kind of short-term and long-term impacts on domestic and foreign policy have there been since Ukraine joined the Energy Community?
Investments in energy efficiency and alternative energy: tools, examples in Ukraine and experience of neighboring countries.
