PRESS RELEASE: IV International Conference UkrCemFor 2011 'Cement industry. Development Prospects
Maintaining traditions kept since the first international conference in 2005, the Ukrainian association of enterprises and organizations of the cement industry, Ukrcement, will hold the IV International Conference UkrCemFor2011 "Cement industry. Development Prospects" at the President Hotel in Kyiv on June 6-9, 2011.
Previous conferences were a gathering place for professionals of the cement and building materials industry: manufacturers and traders, analysts and experts in operating and manufacturing, finances, and engineers.
Brief Background
On February 14-15, 2007 "Cement industry. Development Perspectives" was held in Yaremcha, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The conference was attended by representatives of foreign companies from 15 countries (Austria, England, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, Turkey, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, the Netherlands and others) as well as representatives from Ukrainian enterprises and organizations - leading national cement factories - numbering about 140 delegates from more than 80 companies.
The III International conference UkrCemFor 2009 "Cement industry. Development Perspectives" was held on May 24-27, 2009.
Objectives of the conference:
To discuss the existing situation in the cement and construction market in Ukraine, tendencies and prospects for further development of the cement market, building materials and cement-based products.
To draw attention to one of the most important aspects of the market - the quality of products, advanced technologies and equipment for the production of cement and building materials.
To discuss the influence of the state regulation on the market.
To establish direct contacts between the producers of cement and traders.
Audience: producers of cement; producers of equipment, engineers; constructors; exporters/importers; banks, investment and insurance companies; industry organization; and representatives of the state authorities and science.
About 300 people from 25 countries are expected to participate in the conference.
An exhibition will be held during the conference.
