Digitalization has reached problematic housing and communal services: Infomir Group introduced the technology of remote meter reading

2 min read

Infomir presented devices for remote meter reading. Sensors are designed for remote collection of readings from water meters (cold, hot water), gas and electric meters.

Odesa manufacturer of high-tech equipment presented the novelty at Kyiv Smart City 2019, which took place on October 1 in Kyiv. The company says that it will be suitable for all types and modifications of meters. This answers the request for a comprehensive solution for housing cooperatives and housing offices, whose users have different meters.

“We are talking about remote metering and control of the consumption of cold and hot water, gas and electricity in apartments, individual houses, as well as in other residential and non-residential premises. Data is transmitted several times a day using a radio modem. This allows you to track resource consumption in almost online mode. The technology will optimize all utility costs", comments the commercial director of the company Victor Artiushchenko.

Infomir is sure that its device should be of interest to all consumers of housing and communal services and indicates its advantages:

1. Functionality. The battery lasts from 5 to 10 years (depending on the frequency of data sent).

2. Simplicity. All sensors are very easy to install and configure, any housing office specialist can handle this.

3. Data accuracy. Using sensors is much more efficient than logging and messaging. You can view statistics for a specific date at any time.

4. Comparison of the readings of apartment and industrial meters allows you to quickly identify anomalies (for example, leaks) and timely eliminate them.

The device operates using LoRa wireless data technology.

Infomir promises to present the product extensively by the end of fall 2019.
