The candidate for President Shevchenko Igor Anatolyevich was elected chairman of the political party "Successful Ukraine". The party will take part in the parliamentary elections in the fall of 2019.

March 27, 2019, the third congress of the political party "Successful Ukraine" took place. The new head of the party - Shevchenko Igor Anatoliyovych instead of Yanchenko Volodymyr Volodymyrovych - was elected. Also during the meeting, members of the party discussed prospects for development and party building. The new party will take part in the October 2019 parliamentary elections.

"The election of candidates from the party for the parliament will be lead  exceptionally on the principle of meritocracy, that is to say, honest, professional, most competent, successful in their fields of activity and experienced candidates will be selected. Neither money nor loyalty to a leader of the party will be a crucial criteria - exclusively knowledge, capabilities, achievements, experience and honesty ", - notes Igor Shevchenko. Earlier, Igor Shevchenko stated that his goal for 2019 is precisely the formation of a qualitatively new team of politicians who have a political will to resolutely implement reforms in the state.

Symbolically, the party "Successful Ukraine" was created due to the synergy of Igor Shevchenko, who founded the ideology of meritocracy in Ukraine and is the ex-chairmen of the Meritocratic Party of Ukraine, and also Volodymyr Yanchenko, an ideologue of national pragmatism and founder of the political party "National Pragmatism". The main ideological principles of the renewed party were the meritocracy, pragmatism and honesty. It was the implementation of these three principles that Lee Kuan Yu was able to build a successful Singapore.
