PRESS RELEASE: The ministers of Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia to participate in the Black Sea Economic Forum

The Black Sea Economic Forum will bring together the leaders of the Black Sea region: the delegations of Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia confirmed its participation in the Forum. During the Forum the negotiations on bilateral cooperation will be held with Vera Kobalia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Nihat Ergün, Minister of Industry and Trade of Turkey; the governors of Varna and Burgass regions of Bulgaria. The agenda of the day will include the issues of infrastructure development in the seaports, collaboration in investment attraction, trade and economic spheres. Among the honored Forum participants are Aram Arutyunyan, Minister of nature protection of Armenia; Natik Aliev, Minister of industry and energy of Azerbaijan. Totally over 100 representatives of government, international organizations and expert community confirmed its participation in the Forum, among them are Olivier Adam, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Ukraine; Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine; Ihor Podoliev, Executive Director for Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, Georgia and Armenia, EBRD; Olena Voloshina, IFC Country Officer in Ukraine, and other. Also the Forum will bring together over 50 representatives of Ukrainian and international business, including Vladimir Dmitriev, Chairman of Vneshekonombank (Russian Federation); Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, DCH IM; Konstantin Grigorishyn, President of Energy Standard Group (Russian Federation); Oleg Bakhmatyuk, Chairman of the Board of AVANGARD CO IPL, and others. The Black Sea Economic Forum is taking place on November 26-27, 2010 in Yalta, Crimea under the auspices of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych by the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The Forum will gather over 250 representatives of government and business representatives as well as experts and media from the Black Sea region countries.
