PRESS RELEASE: National Television Company of Ukraine and Interfax-Ukraine launch joint social and political project 'Online'
The National Television Company of Ukraine (NTCU) and the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency are to launch a joint social and political project entitled "Online."
The project is aimed at holding press conferences and briefings, and involving the media in covering the activities of the state and local authorities, political parties and public organizations, as well as big, medium-sized and small businesses.
The press conferences will be hosted by the press center of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
The press conferences will be covered with the help of the technical resources of the First National Channel and the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency.
NTCU will broadcast live substantial parts of the press conferences on the First National Channel. The broadcasts will last 15 minutes.
Information about press conferences may also be included in the news on the First National Channel.
In addition, the NTCU will provide full records of press conferences and free signal transmissions to those interested in such events for coverage opportunities in the media.
Interfax-Ukraine will post announcements on press conferences and on-line information about events under corporate standards on the newswires and on its Web site: www.interfax.com.ua. The same information will be available on the Web site of the First National Channel: www.1tv.com.ua.
