PRESS RELEASE: II International conference on development of Ukrainian fuel market
The A-95 Consulting Group and the Union of Ukrainian Fuel Market Operators on November 11-12 will hold the second international conference on the development of the Ukrainian fuel market.
The event will take place in the Kyiv's Radisson Blu Hotel. The general partner of the conference is TNK-BP Commerce. The forum is also supported by Lithuania's ORLEN Lietuva and Galnaftogaz Concern.
The event program contains a large list of topics, including trends in fuel consumption, the strategies of the leading market operators, new opportunities in fuel supplies, and improving the efficiency of the retail business. Among the conference speakers are the top managers and owners of the largest Ukrainian and international companies, leading market experts and government organizations linked to the sector. Representatives of oil suppliers from Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland and representatives of the oil and related businesses from other Eastern European countries are expected to attend the event.
Panel discussions will be held for the first time at the autumn fuel conference, during which the issues of state regulation, competition, problems of imported and domestic fuel supplies and fuel quality will be considered.
"The meeting of fuel market operators at fall conferences has become a good tradition for the sector, and we are confident that the upcoming forum will be particularly large, as the current year has been one of the most controversial ones in the history of the Ukrainian fuel market, and a lots of questions have come up," said Serhiy Kuyun, the director of the A-95 Consulting Group.
Leonid Kosianchuk, the president of the Union of Ukrainian Fuel Market Operators, in turn, said that "the association's rich experience shows that, to eliminate the problems that hamper the market's normal operation, well-coordinated and joint work between a large number of market participants is required. The format of the conference, which will be attended by a large number of operators, will allow to better assessment of the market situation to be made, thus answering the market's most urgent questions."
