Dutch technology, ukrainian land - together we can feed the world

3 min read

To showcase opportunities offered by Ukrainian and Dutch agri-industrial and food communities, the Strategy Council is organizing the Ukrainian Agro-Industrial & Food Forum, taking place at the Barbizon Palace Hotel in Amsterdam on May 31.

Agrifood companies from Ukraine, the Netherlands and beyond, traders, financiers, retailers, logistics companies and service and equipment providers, amongst others, are planning to gather to discuss the many synergies that exist between the two leading agricultural nations.

Agriculture in modern world is subject to a great challenge: ending world hunger and poverty, and making agriculture systems more sustainable simultaneously is not an easy task. Both goals are impossible to achieve alone - therefore, it is high time for countries to cooperate and work. The Forum unites everyone who believes that the Netherlands with their innovative agrifood technology and Ukraine’s vast fertile land could make the world a more abundant place.

The programme of the event continues to take shape with an authoritative speaker panel already featuring:

Top Ukrainian officials, Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Vice Prime Minister for European & Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, who will head up an official Ukrainian delegation, which also features Olga Trofimtseva, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy & Food of Ukraine with specific responsibility for European Integration, Oleksiy Pavlenko, Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine (2014-2016) and now Co-Head of the Ukrainian Dutch Joint Business Council and H.E. Vsevolod Chentsov, Ukrainian Ambassador to the Netherlands; Hans De Boer, President of the VNO-NCW and also Co-Chair of the Ukrainian-Dutch Joint Business Council will lead the Dutch official representation;

Representatives of Ukrainian agriholdings, including Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, CEO & Founder of Nibulon, Dmytro Los, Advisor to the CEO of MHP, Olga Rybachuk, CFO of Delta Wilmar CIS and Victor Gladky, CFO of Astarta-Kyiv;

We are pleased to welcome new corporate partners of the Forum – IMMER Group and Credendo. They join ING Bank, FMO and Evris Law Firm.
