Adam Smith Conferences 9th International Ukrainian Energy Forum will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel, Kiev on 27 February - 1 March 2018. This year’s Forum boasts an intensive 3-day programme with a very high level of government participation from Ukraine as well as contributions from senior European Union officials.

Highlights:

The Forum’s speaker faculty will be headed up by: Volodymyr Kistion, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – the top Ukrainian government official responsible for the energy sector.

For the first time Klaus-Dieter Borchardt, Director, Internal Energy Market Directorate, Directorate General for Energy, European Commission, a senior EU official involved in the development of EU-Ukraine energy relationships, will present his views on the achievements of reform in the Ukrainian energy sector and prospects for larger-scale co-operation with and investment from the EU.

The day will be opened by Vice Prime Minister Kistion and Klaus-Dieter Borchardt, Director, Internal Energy Market Directorate, European Commission in a special session on EU-Ukraine energy co-operation.
