ICEG: in Ukraine, the quality of construction of a road of international importance will be watched by "Temelsu"
The preliminary negotiations between the representatives of the State Road Agency of Ukraine, State Enterprise "Ukrdorinvest", on the one part, and the Consortium consisting of the Turkish company "Temelsu" and the Ukrainian company "FBM Ukraine", on the other part, were held in Kyiv. The latter is the winner in the competition to determine the performer for the provision of consulting services on construction supervision over capital repair of the road M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskiy on section Lubny – Poltava.

The Parties discussed aspects of the project implementation and terms of the future contract.
Ms Olena Kryvoruchko, the Director of SE "Ukrdorinvest", stated during the talks that the domestic road industry strives to learn the best global business practices and standards in the field of automobile road construction. She highlighted some important components, namely the quality of work execution, performance guarantees, and responsibility of organizations involved in project implementation.

In return, Mr. Alper Akansel, Temelsu General Director, emphasised that the company headed by him has considerable experience in implementation of relevant projects, in particular those with the use of FIDIC standard forms of contract, in over 15 countries.
He also stated that he was pleasantly surprised with the youth, professionalism, knowledge and non-bias of the representatives of the Ukrainian party – the Clients for the project implementation. Alper Akansel named these skills as very important for the team of reformers in Ukraine.
Temelsu is the first Turkish company to be involved in consulting engineering support of such project in Ukraine.
