Ukraine’s Future Foundation launches its official website On September 24, 2013, the Ukraine’s Future Foundation, a charitable fund, launched its official website. The Foundation’s goal is to promote the development of intellectual potential in Ukraine, to find ways to use it more effectively both at home and abroad, and to establish our country’s place on the intellectual map of the world. The Foundation’s official website includes complete information about the goals, main interests and programs of the Foundation, as well as its activities and organizational format. The site is set up to make it very easy to contact the Foundation’s management and staff, and to get a quick answer regarding the Foundation’s current efforts Those who are interested can also sign up to be first to get updates from the Foundation. “The Ukraine’s Future Foundation’s mission is to turn intellect into a development resource for Ukraine. I am firmly convinced that only by putting our efforts into intellect can we ensure progress into the future for our country. For me, ‘future’ and ‘intellect’ are two inseparable concepts. This raises an enormous number of questions: How do you support intellect? What needs to be done to make intellect a true development resource for Ukraine? What can we do so that intellect can be fully exercised in this country? There is no genius who knows the answer to these and many similar questions. So we must look for the answers together. The Foundation’s site is a journal of our collective search,” says Ukraine’s Future Foundation Acting Director Yuriy CHUDNOVSKIY. Ukraine’s Future Foundation was established on July 31, 2013, for the purpose of organizing, supporting and executing programs and innovative studies related to intellectual policy in Ukraine, and of putting together and carrying out an intellectual development strategy for the country. The Foundation was established as an outcome of the First International Expert Session, “How to make intellect a development resource for Ukraine,” which took place June 27-28, 2013, in Kyiv. The Foundation will work towards its objectives by organizing and hosting national and international exhibitions, presentations, grant competitions, scientific conferences, and other forms of intellectual interaction.
