The Ukrainian Exchange and Interfax-Ukraine signed an agreement on June 12 regarding the distribution of information, granting users of the trade system of the Ukrainian Exchange access to the Interfax-Ukraine's newswire. "Now the members of the Ukrainian Exchange have access, in real time, to financial and economic data, analytical reviews, information about legislative acts by state regulatory bodies and other current news. This will allow traders to watch both the course of the bidding on the Ukrainian Exchange and the situation on the Ukrainian stock market in general," said Chairman of OJSC Ukrainian Exchange Oleh Tkachenko. "Interfax-Ukraine news agency is actively extending its market share in Ukraine," said Director General of Interfax-Ukraine news agency Oleksandr Martynenko. "We have, for almost two decades, provided companies and organizations, including securities companies, with current information on the commodities and financial markets. Now we will also do this in cooperation with the Ukrainian Exchange," Martynenko said.
