Odesa FDI Forum 2013 Focus: Infrastructure, April 12-13, 2013
ODESA FDI FORUM is a debate platform for the discussion of urgent issues in attracting investments and infrastructure development (in light of the implementation of new laws) with a view to finding solutions, for big private and institutional investors, entrepreneurs, public organizations, and the heads of central and local authorities. There will also be consideration of recent legislative changes in the sphere of public-private partnerships (PPP).
The main task of the forum is to increase the efficiency of cooperation between investors and the regional authorities, as providing direct communications between the authorities and entrepreneurship will promote the attraction of private capital to ambitious projects.
Specialized sessions will take place as part of the event concerning investments in transport infrastructure, the fuel and energy sector and thw industrial parks of the region.
ODESA FDI FORUM 2013 FOCUS: INFRASTRUCTURE.
Forum 2013 will be devoted to issues of investment in the infrastructure projects of the region. Discussion will be constructed around four major topics:
• Sea port infrastructure: investment models
• Financing infrastructure projects: empowering investors
• Energy infrastructure: investment and development prospects
• Industrial parks: prospective platforms and benefits for participants
The forum is being initiated by Odesa Regional State Administration, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine. The official partner of ODESA FDI 2013 is the TIS group of companies, the partners - Port Invest, PwC, Brooklyn-Kyiv, while the legal partner of the forum is Lavrynovych&Partners Company. The forum is supported by the European Business Association, the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, and the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA).
