Zelenskyy, Kim, Prytula most-trusted among bureaucrats, civil activists and journalists – survey

In September, more than half of the respondents expressed confidence in the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelenskyy (75%), the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Vitaliy Kim (64%), and volunteer Serhiy Prytula (51%). This is the result of a survey conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from September 21 to 27, 2023 as part of the Program for Promoting Social Activism “Get Out!”

As indicated in the press release, among those surveyed, more often they expressed trust than distrust in the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office Mikhail Podolyak (45% and 30%, respectively), the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko (44% and 39.5%), and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov ( 42% and 35.5%), head of the SBU Vasily Maliuk (34% and 21%), journalist Yuriy Butusov (31% and 25%), blogger Serhiy Sternenko (28.5% and 26%), head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko (26% and 22%), and to the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov (25% and 21%).

According to the survey results, more than half of respondents do not trust people's deputies Yuriy Boiko (82%) and Yulia Tymoshenko (82%), leader of the Eurosolidarity Party Petro Poroshenko (73%), ex-adviser of the President’s Office Oleksiy Arestovich (71%), presenter Dmytro Gordon (58%), head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia (54%) and the head of the OP Andrey Ermak (53%).

Of the respondents, more often expressed distrust than trust in the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk (46% and 25%, respectively), Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal (44% and 36%), and the head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy Danilo Hetmantsev (29% and 18%).

The survey was conducted using the face-to-face method in 22 regions of Ukraine, as well as in Kyiv, Zaporozhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson regions - only in those territories controlled by the government of Ukraine. 2016 respondents aged 18 years and over were surveyed. The theoretical sampling error does not exceed 2.3%. Additional systematic sampling deviations may be due to the consequences of Russian aggression, in particular, the forced evacuation of citizens.
