Almost 150,000 use humanitarian corridors so far – Vereschuk

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereschuk has said that at present, almost 150,000 people have been able to use humanitarian corridors.

"At the same time, she admitted that in general the process is very difficult, because the aggressor neither fulfills its obligations, nor complies with the ceasefire. Therefore, people are partly at risk. Even being in humanitarian corridors, which should guarantee them full protection," the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration said in a statement.

According to Vereschuk, the current results of today's evacuation will be known today after 08:00 p.m., but now it is obvious that it is going difficult.

"So far, not all humanitarian corridors have started working. So, shelling prevented them in Kyiv region - the invader does not observe the ceasefire," she said.

In addition, according to her, the fate of thousands of foreigners who cannot leave Ukraine because of the war remains a painful issue.

"There is no excuse for Russia. It must understand that it will bear full responsibility for all the murders committed in Ukraine. There are hundreds and hundreds of Muslims in occupied Mariupol who want to leave the city, but cannot do it. There is no water, heat, electricity," said Vereschuk.
