PR's first deputy minister of income and taxes in absentia notified of suspicion in financing terrorism
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has announced in absentia suspicion "to the first deputy of the Income and Taxes Ministry of the People's Republic of DPR" for funding actions to violently change the constitutional system, as well as for financing terrorism.
Detectives of the SBU Directorate in Donetsk region established that the former official of the district fiscal service of Donetsk in late 2014 took the office of "the first deputy minister of income and taxes of the DPR." He was responsible for the collection of taxes in the "budget" of the so-called DPR, and redistributed the collected funds among the combat units for the purchase of military equipment, ammunition, and engineering equipment, the SBU's press center said on Wednesday.
The SBU said that, given the fact that the accomplice of terrorists was located on the territory of the Donetsk region temporarily uncontrolled by the Ukrainian authorities, he was suspected of being (in absentia) under Part 4 of Article 110-2, Part 1 of Article 258-3 and Part 3 of Article 258-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
