Jaresko heads supervisory board of Aspen Institute in Kyiv

The Aspen Institute public non-governmental organization, which will implement programs of leadership for representatives of various spheres of activity, has started work in Kyiv.

Ex-Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko headed the supervisory board of the organization, while Serhiy Koshman has been appointed executive director.

"We are launching the Aspen Institute in Kyiv at the time when Ukraine is moving forward from the Soviet past to European politics, economy and culture... We are proud to join this process," Jaresko said during the opening of the Aspen Institute in Kyiv.

She noted the organization's programs around the world help leaders in various fields: education, foreign affairs, communications and culture.

Vice President of the Aspen Institute in the United States Elliot Gerson, in turn, noted the initiative of this organization in Ukraine has been existing for almost 9 years. Seminars for Ukrainian leaders were conducted within its framework.

"This launch is the possibility of integrating Ukrainian leaders into the chain of values based on the values of leadership," he said.
