Leader of Ukrainian radical organization Right Sector denies plans to send armed units to Crimea

Dmytro Yarosh, the leader of the Ukrainian radical movement Right Sector, has branded reports being circulated on Right Sector's behalf on putting together armed units to be sent to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as untrue.

"I would like to point out that any information alleging on behalf of Right Sector that we are gathering armed units for Crimea is rumors and provocations," Yarosh said in a statement posted on Right Sector's official website and on the VKontakte social network.

"Right Sector hopes that a way out of this difficult situation will be found exclusively in the political field, without using forcible methods. Right Sector believes that all parties and non-governmental organizations of Ukraine should forget strife and unite when it comes to the preservation of Ukraine's integrity. We should help politicians in settling this conflict peacefully," the statement says.
