Azarov lays flowers to Taras Shevchenko Monument in Kyiv

Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has laid flowers to the Monument to Taras Shevchenko in Kyiv to commemorate the 199th anniversary of the birth of the great poet.

The ceremony was also attended by MPs, government officials, Kyiv officials, public and cultural figures, according to the Web site of the Cabinet of Ministers.
