The reform of the state concern Ukroboronprom has begun, according to resolution No. 1229 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 9, 2020, as a result of the transformation, 65 enterprises are to be included in the Defense Systems of Ukraine holding, director general of the concern Yuriy Husev has said.

"The concern acts in pursuance of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine under No. 1229 dated December 9, 2020. Thus, 17 state-owned enterprises have already been withdrawn from the concern and the corporate rights of two joint-stock companies have been transferred. Today, Ukroboronprom has 118 enterprises, of which 21 are on the temporarily occupied territory. Two more enterprises are planned to be transferred to the State Space Agency of Ukraine. Therefore, the big reform of Ukroboronprom, which was commissioned by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, actually started on December 21, 2020 by signing an order on the corporation of the concern, continues on the roadmap ... Let me remind you that as a result of the transformation it is planned to include 65 enterprises in the Defense Systems of Ukraine holding," he said on Facebook.
