Zelensky for activating economic ties with France, supports 'Anna de Kyiv. Third Millennium' cultural project

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he support activating economic and cultural ties with France.

"We discussed activating Ukraine-France ties. There is joint interest is making a qualitative breakthrough in bilateral cooperation, which is already developing quite dynamically," Zelensky said at a briefing with French President Emmanuel Macron after their meeting on Monday in Paris.

He noted that Ukraine expects high-quality goods and services, fair competition, job creation in Ukraine from French companies. Zelensky said his team is working on "eliminating corruption, awful bureaucracy and ensuring the independence of Ukrainian judges for a comfortable business climate."

Zelensky emphasized the importance of developing intercultural contacts between countries.

"I am glad that at present, in Ukraine and France a public educational and charitable project is being implemented by public organizations. It is called 'Anna de Kyiv: The Third Millennium.' It is Anna de Kyiv, no matter what anyone tells you," Zelensky said.
