Ukraine embargoes Russian vegetables, sauces, fish, sweets – Ukraine's trade envoy
Ukraine has extended the list of embargoed Russian goods by including vegetables, sauces, ketchups, fish and confectionery, Ukrainian Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister and Ukraine's Trade Representative Nataliya Mykolska said at a briefing on Wednesday.
"We have extended the product line: of the vegetables, these [include] sauces and ketchups, plus fish, and we now also got confectionery goods," she said.
The Ukrainian authorities have identified instances of banned goods being imported under different codes, she said. To avoid this in the future, Ukraine has also introduced an embargo on the goods it has not been imported over the past year, the deputy minister said.
According to Mykolska, the full list of the embargoed goods originating from Russia will be posted on the Cabinet's official website.
