Eurocar posts UAH 362 million loss in 2014

Eurocar Plant, which manufactures Skoda cars (Solomonove, Zakarpattia region) and is part of Atoll Holding, saw a loss of UAH 361.87 million in 2014, while its net profit in 2013 was UAH 14.31 million.

According to information published in the press on a meeting of PJSC Eurocar shareholders scheduled for April 17, its uncovered loss totaled UAH 223.67 million as of the beginning of 2014.

Over the last year, Eurocar's current liabilities fell by 18.2%, to UAH 407 million, but its long-term liabilities rose by 60%, to UAH 626.72 million.

Total debtor indebtedness reached UAH 306.17 million as of January 1, 2015, a rise of 65.6% within a year. Eurocar's assets rose slightly, totaling UAH 1.085 billion as of the beginning of 2015.

Eurocar's net worth totaled UAH 81.146 million and its charter capital remained UAH 234.48 million.

The total number of Eurocar employees was 348 people as of January 1, 2015, nine fewer than on the same date in 2014.

PJSC Eurocar is the official manufacturer of Skoda cars in Ukraine.

As reported, Eurocar cut production by 3.2 times in 2014, to 3,649 cars against 2013, when total vehicle production fell by 43.3%, to 25,940 cars. As of January 2015, Eurocar only manufactured cars in Ukraine.

Eurocar manufactured 11,494 cars in 2013, a fall of 21% compared to 2012. Its net income fell by 11%, to UAH 1.6 billion, while its net profit fell by 30%, to UAH 14.3 million.
