Bogdan Car Plant resumes car production from June 1

Bogdan Car Plant, part of Bogdan Corporation, on June 1 resumed passenger car production at its plant in Cherkasy, which was suspended in early April 2009 due to the large number of cars in stock at warehouses, the corporation's president, Oleh Svynarchuk, told the press on Wednesday.

"From June 1, the plant in Cherkasy resumed car production, but it's too early to talk about regular production," he said.

He said that at present, the SKD-made cars stocked at warehouses have been almost sold.
