Ukrainian Beer Group's enterprises put on sale

The owners of the Ukrainian Beer Group (Zaporizhia) have put the group's enterprises up for sale, a representative of Kreditprombank (Kyiv) has told Interfax-Ukraine.

The group of enterprises are collateral for credits issued by Kreditprombank to the group.

Currently Kreditprombank, jointly with the group's owners, is seeking an investor for the enterprises. Some of the enterprises are ready for sale, while the remaining enterprises are being prepared for sale.

As reported, the Ukrainian Beer Group, created in November 2007, united four small breweries: the Melitopol, Zaporizhia, Lysychansk, and Kryvy Rih breweries.

The founders of the group are brothers Andriy and Valentyn Bily.

Earlier, the group said it was intending to occupy 5% of the Ukrainian beer market in 2009.
