Ukraine's Embassy in Australia initiates transfer of humanitarian aid to State Emergency Service for demining needs
Forty metal detectors Garrett ACE 400i and forty hand-held Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk pinpoint metal detectors were transferred from Australia for the needs of humanitarian demining in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said on the Telegram channel on Thursday that, on the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, support of the Australian citizen Nathan Burraston and funding of the Australian Rotary Club, 40 Garrett ACE 400i and forty hand-held Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk pinpoint metal detectors were sent for the needs of the Interregional Center for Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Thus, 269 metal detectors and 52 hand-held detectors worth $130,000 were transferred within the framework of the specified initiativesince 2022 for the needs of humanitarian demining in Ukraine from Australia," the embassy said.
Now Australia continues to raise funds for the next batch of equipment for humanitarian demining in Ukraine.
