The post at England's Queens Park Rangers is now vacant for Harry Redknapp, a candidate for the post of head coach of Ukraine's national football team.

The English club said in a statement on Friday that it had terminated the contract with manager Mark Hughes.

The club's board of directors now plans to work actively to put a new managerial structure in place as soon as possible.

According to British media, Redknapp is the most likely candidate for the post of QPR manager.

As reported, on November 20, the presidium of the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) decided to begin talks with English manager Redknapp regarding his possible job as Ukraine coach. On November 22, reports said that he had to give the FFU an answer by the end of this week.
