"Razom з AMIC": AMIC Ukraine petrol station network and the charity fund "Razom for Ukraine" have joined forces to deliver humanitarian goods to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Austrian petrol station network AMIC Energy donated 20,000 litres of fuel to the charity fund "Razom" for the delivery of tactical medicine and communication equipment to Ukrainian defenders, as well as humanitarian goods to frontline settlements by the fund's drivers.

The company AMIC handed over 20 fuel cards with a cash limit of UAH 50,000 each, which is equivalent to about 20,000 litres of fuel and UAH 1 million in total. With the cards, Razom drivers can refuel at any AMIС petrol station throughout Ukraine. In this way, humanitarian supplies and necessary equipment can be delivered to occupied towns and villages as quickly as possible, and the charity organisation can raise more funds for other needs without spending money on fuel.

In November this year, AMIC Ukraine and Razom signed a memorandum of cooperation and partnership. This was the beginning of the joint charity project "Razom з AMIC". The transfer of fuel through AMIC was the first phase of this project. AMIC and Razom are planning further cooperation in other priority areas: providing logistics for humanitarian aid, supporting social projects and organising joint charity events.

Background information:

Amic Energy is an Austrian company that operates a network of 470 mobile and stationary filling stations in Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine with headquarters in Vienna. As of 2020, Amic Energy is the fifth largest network in Ukraine by sales volume and holds 6.7% of the Ukrainian retail fuel market.

Since February 24, 2022, after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, AMIC Ukraine has not stopped helping the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,  the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service, the Territorial Defense, the Military Administrations and territorial communities of different regions, having already donated more than 250,000 liters of fuel.

In September 2022, AMIC Ukraine signed a charity agreement with a 242 separate territorial defense battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where company employees serve, for the supply of military equipment, and continues to assist other military units regularly, responding to their urgent needs.

The charity fund "Razom for Ukraine" was created by young progressive Ukrainians in the USA during the Revolution of Dignity in 2014 to unlock the potential of Ukraine by supporting public projects in the Motherland. But, like most philanthropists, after February 24, RAZOM shifted its focus to meeting the needs of the military and civilians in Ukraine. Today, "Razom for Ukraine" gathers around itself 150 thousand donors and volunteers from all corners of the planet, who also work in Ukraine. Over the past six months, they have collected more than UAH 2 billion ($65 million). The major part of these funds goes to the direct support of the Armed Forces, hospitals, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the National Police with technical devices and tactical medicine - from walkie-talkies, repeaters, civilian drones and tablets, to high-quality personal first-aid kits and state-of-the-art medical equipment.

"Razom for Ukraine" is also engaged in the evacuation of vulnerable population groups, provides grants for other organisations, takes care of the children of soldiers killed at the front, opens psychological support centers across the country, and has already delivered more than 200 tons of medical supplies and medicines across the regions of Ukraine.
