Kyiv, October 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The approval of anti-crisis draft laws in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, will show how Ukraine's big business can influence politics, according to Volodymyr Fesenko, the board chairman of the Penta applied political research center.

Fesenko said this at a press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on Friday.

Fesenko said that financial and economic crisis in Ukraine "is a test not only for Ukrainian politicians, but for Ukrainian big business."

"This is a test for them, [of] their ability to influence Ukrainian politicians, in particular, the three leading players, so that they will agree at least to a minimum number of anti-crisis draft laws," Fesenko said.
