Ukrainian, foreign cardiologists to attend congress in Kyiv on September 21-23

Kyiv, September 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The 12th National Congress of Cardiologists of Ukraine will take place in Kyiv on September 21-23, member of the Academy of Medical Sciences Professor Volodymyr Kovalenko has said.

A meeting of the Association of Cardiologists of Ukraine and the European Society of Cardiology will be held, he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Monday. Experts from Germany, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, the United States, Japan and other countries are expected to attend.

Kovalenko also said that the meetings will address the issue of improving medical institutions, and the issues related to the provision of specialized consultative health care.
