Ukrtelecom head forecasts company to see profit in 2012

Kyiv, August 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Board Chairman of public joint-stock company Ukrtelecom, Heorhiy Dzekon, has said that the company will see a profit in 2012.

"In 2012 the company will post a small profit," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.

Dzekon said that it is unlikely that the company will be profitable in 2011.

As reported, in April-June 2011, the company saw a UAH 15.18 million net loss.

In 2010, its net loss stood at UAH 258.77 million, and its net income totaled UAH 6.749 billion.
