Ukrtelecom plans to reorganize company management structure from October 1

Kyiv, August 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Public joint-stock company Ukrtelecom is planning to reorganize its management structure from October 1, 2011, Board Chairman of public joint-stock company Ukrtelecom, Heorhiy Dzekon, said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.

"This year we'll switch to a new structure – from 27 branches to six territorial centers, like mobile operators have," he said, adding that the reorganization is scheduled from October 1, 2011.

Dzekon said that the company does not plan to fire many employees.

As reported, shareholders in Ukrtelecom at a general meeting in June decided to draw up a plan on the restructuring of the company's management by September 2011.
