Euler Hermes export credit agency to expand cooperation with Ukrainian companies

Kyiv, May 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG export credit agency (Germany) is intending to expand its cooperation with Ukrainian companies.

The director of IBcontacts, specializing in the development of trade relations between Ukrainian and foreign commercial and industrial companies, Kateryna Barabash, said this at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday

According to her, the first international seminar on issues of trade financing for the owners and heads of Ukrainian trade and industrial enterprises, which is being organized by Ibcontacts, will be held at Premier Palace Hotel in Kyiv on May 19.

Representatives of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine, the German Embassy in Ukraine, and representatives of the underwriting department of Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG, one of the largest credit insurance corporations in the world, will attend the seminar.

Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG has offices in 50 countries. Its share of the global credit insurance market is 36%. The company has 54 subsidiaries in Europe, the United States, and Canada. The company insures trade operations worth over $800 billion.
