Kyiv, February 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukraine International Travel and Tourism (UITT-2011) exhibition will take place at Kyiv-based International Exhibition Center on March 23-25, 2011.

Organizer of the event Anatoliy Sushon said at a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine that this would be the 17th such exhibition, and that it would give representatives of the tourism business a chance to network, as well as show off their own products and services.

"Over 50 countries will be represented at the exhibition, [and] as of today, international participation is fully confirmed, [as] the application period is over," Sushon said.

As for Ukrainian tourist operators, work in this direction is still in progress, he added.

"In 2011, five more new destinations [for tourism] have appeared. These are Jordan, Canada, Kenya, Tanzania and Portugal," Sushon said.

In turn, organizer of the Ukraine Travel Market Oleksandr Haraschenko said that in 2011 this exhibition would see its 18th anniversary. Ukraine Travel Market will take place on October 4-6, 2011 at the International Exhibition Center.

"Exhibitions reflect the market, and we, as experts, monitor certain trends on this market. By analyzing exhibitions we can forecast where Ukrainians will spend their vacations this year and which routes will be popular this year," he said.

The organizers of the UITT-2011 exhibition include ITE Group Plc. (the United Kingdom) and Premier Expo (Ukraine). The event will be held with the assistance of the profile ministry and Kyiv City State Administration.
