OSCE representative hopes for continuation of probe into disappearance of Gongadze, Klymentyev

Kyiv, October 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatovic has said she hopes for the continuation of the investigation into the murder of journalist Georgy Gongadze and speedier results from the probe into the disappearance of journalist Vasyl Klymentyev.

"We expect that the investigation [on the Gongadze case] will continue. It [the case] deserves justice," she said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine early on Wednesday.

Mijatovic said that she would closely monitor the case on the disappearance of Klymentyev. She also said that "the one hundred percent physical safety of journalists" had to be ensured in Ukraine.
