Vita-Veritas considering construction of trade center chain in regions when economy restores
Kyiv, July 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Kyiv-based Vita-Veritas Ltd., the investor of the construction of Kyiv's Dream Town shopping and entertainment center in Kyiv, has drawn up a concept on the construction of trade and entertainment centers of 25,000 square meters in cities and towns with the population of up to 100,000 people, the co-owner of the trade center, Oleksandr Melamud, has said.
"We've drawn up a concept on the construction of trade centers of 25,000 square meters in small towns with the population of up to 100,000 people. Unfortunately, crisis had arrived and made some adjustments. I think that when the economy restores – in a year – we'll return to the issue," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
Answering a question whether the company has land plots for construction of the above-mentioned project, Melamud said that the company has not selected land plots, although it believes that there would be no problems with land.
He said that the approximate value of one trade center's construction would be around $25-30 million, not taking into account the price of land plots.
Vita-Veritas Ltd. operates on the market of commercial real estate and is engaged in the design, construction, operation and management of trading and commercial real estate.
