E-trust services bill could be passed in March
KYIV. Feb 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Bill No. 4685 on electronic trust services could be passed in the middle of March, Chairman of he parliamentary committee for informatization and communications Oleksandr Danchenko has said.
"We are waiting until February 21. It will take around 10 days to work in the committee and we will be ready on March 15. Unfortunately, this is a month," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
Danchenko said that along with this bill the bill on cloud technologies should be passed. The latter was removed from voting at night before the Verkhovna Rada session.
"This bill [No. 4685] will work by 10% without the bill on cloud technologies. The main compute capacity of trust services we are speaking about is cloud technologies. Today public agencies do not have the right to work in clouds. All officials cannot use Facebook and ProZorro. It is important that the two bills are approved together," Danchenko said.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada on February 7 sent for repeated second reading bill No. 4685 on electronic trust services.
