Ex-head of SBU Nalyvaichenko sets up Anti-Corruption Movement public organization

KYIV. Oct 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Former head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Valentyn Nalyvaichenko has presented non-governmental organization Anti-Corruption Movement.

"You see the representatives and coordinators of NGO Anti-Corruption Movement. It brings together many activists," Anti-Corruption Movement coordinator Nalyvaichenko said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, the organization was set up not for political activities.

"We are moving and continue to fight against corruption. We insist that the Ukrainian corruption has surnames directly among the Ukrainian authorities," Nalyvaichenko said.

He noted that materials proving corruption actions on the part of incumbent government representatives were presented at a session of the parliamentary committee on preventing and combating corruption on October 15.

One of the coordinators of Anti-Corruption Movement, MP Yehor Firsov (the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko), in turn, said that the organization calls on parliamentarians from different factions to join the movement. At the same time, this is impossible for MPs from the Party of Regions and the Communist Party of Ukraine .
