Kyiv, November 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The 21st Christmas Charity Fair will be held in Kyiv from 0930 to 1700 on December 7, 2013 at ExpoPlaza exhibition center by the International Women's Club of Kyiv, the General Directorate on Servicing Foreign Diplomatic Offices, and foreign embassies.

"This year our fair will present 38 embassies. They will present their culture, their national foods, souvenirs and handicrafts," President of the International Women's Club of Kyiv Nel Kortsmit said at a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine.

According to her, the fair is aimed at collecting money to help low-income old people, children, women and the disabled.

Wife of Ambassador of Czech Republic to Ukraine Martina Pocuchova, who will take part in the fair, said she hopes that the results of the event this year would be even better than last year's. In 2012 the fair collected and transferred over UAH 2,000,000 to the charitable fund.

"It's very important that all organizations that receive money from the International Women's Club after the fair are thoroughly checked several times," she said.

Wife of British Ambassador to Ukraine Sean Stickings said she will also participate in the fair together with her husband, and will make souvenirs for sale at the fair.
