Accessory collection of Ukrainian designer Diana Ahayan to be put on display in Milan
Kyiv, February 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The accessory collection of young designer Diana Ahayan will be put on display at the MIFUR 2013 18th International Fur and Leather Exhibition, which will be held from March 3 to March 6 in Milan (Italy).
As the designer reported at a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday, the "Graffiti" accessory collection will be made from leather, fur and plastic.
She said that in 2012 at the FUR Expo exhibition, professor of the Royal College of Art Basil Kardasis (London) noticed her fur and leather accessories collection and invited her to undergo training in Finland.
According to Ahayan, the result of the training was the Graffiti project, the continuation of which will be presented at the exhibition in Milan.
"Initially, the work with leather and fur was an experiment for me, but I don't see my doing any further creative work without these materials," she said.
According to the designer, participation in MIFUR 2013 is interesting as a new experience and for communications that could lead in future to cooperation with foreign partners.
