Kyiv, September 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Kontrakty business weekly has launched a project entitled "The Country I Want to Build" to help students choose their future profession.

"We're trying to settle the task of finding a job for children, where they will enjoy working," the editor-in-chief of Kontrakty, Olena Shramko, said at a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.

She also said as part of this project students would attend excursions to familiarize themselves with various professions, and reports by pupils from the events will be posted on the weekly's Web site.

"We're calling on the guys to tell us about the kind of country they want to live in, write essays and send them to us. We'll post them on our Web site," she said.

She called on businessmen to participate in the project and organize ways to acquaint students with various professions.

Moreover, an essay contest will be held on the Kontrarty Web portal, and the author of the best one will participate in a master class organized by the weekly, write a journalistic report and receive an honorarium.

"The project is unique in uniting two flows. Adults will listen to the children's opinions about what kind of Ukraine they [want to] see in 10-20 years… [and] we're initiating a collection of essays by senior pupils so they can answer questions from other perspectives.
