Kyiv, September 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko has said he hopes that the party's faction in the next parliament will have up to 70 deputies.

"With 15% of support from, taking into account single-member constituencies, I count on 60 or, perhaps, 70 representatives of our party in parliament," he told reporters after a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.

"Sporting events are in the past, and today we have a more serious task and the continuation of a round that started a year ago. The current task is to continue the political struggle for the future of Ukraine," he said.

"According to last month's dynamics, our political party received another 2%, and if this trend continues, I expect that the UDAR Party will get at least 15% at the elections on October 28," Klitschko said.

In addition, the party hopes for the victory of its deputies in single-member constituencies.

The Ukrainian parliament is composed of 450 deputies. On October 28, half of them will be elected on party lists and the rest will be elected in single-member constituencies.
